See this is what the impending Shitshow of Twitter looks like if anyone can buy a Blue Tick then the blue tick 
doesn't mean anything anymore 
doesn't mean anything anymore This is just one of the many bad decisions currently being implemented I've never really been "Anti-Elon" but this is not going to end well.
Elon is like me when I'm off my meds he makes poor life choices sometimes but unlike me when he goes manic and decides to drop 44 billion dollars on a platform just to say what he wants... It has global implications and it's a literal threat to democracy as we know it.
That's why this is bad. That's why high profile people are leaving Twitter. It's not just liberals and Democrats it's people that see the impending wave of misinformation, hate and all out war on democracy that are leaving Twitter.
Because Yes, Twitter has become that powerful to sway democracy it's a platform with access to hundred of millions of people all around the world. If you get 100 million people saying that X is facts and that's the right and truthful thing, that one person seeing it is going to say well if that many people believe it to be true then it must be true.
Then that person joins that 100 million people and spreads that "truth" as well this is how misinformation and hate spread. Only when 100 million people believe it to be true it's no longer #misinformation it becomes fact.
That's why leaving Twitter is not the answer in fact it's more important than ever to stay and fight on Twitter because this is the new battleground.
